The Running/Workout Mix: "Return To Gotham" (Downloadable)

Here's a mix I did for the people that join me in the Nike+ running challenges. Some of the songs that keep my juices flowing and my body going. A lot of the songs have a running, motivational, body theme. It's got your buildup, some high power, some songs that encourage aerobic activity, and ends with a good cool down song. (some of the songs have explicit lyrics)

this is the follow up to the workout mix i did called "the gotham city workout".

If you like it, feel free to leave a comment .... please. haha

I'll add the version with separate tracks for those of you that want it on a cd a little later. And now...I hope you enjoy "Return To Gotham"

My Black History Mix: "The Red, The Black, The Green"

Ok I think I did this mix like 3-4 years ago. Hip hop went through a very political/pro black period in the late 80's/early 90's. Public Enemy was my favorite hip hop group in high school. (Yeah, flava flav's group) anyway, these were some of my fave songs from that era. I figured why not repost it in February.

I forgot who was all in here, but some of the artists I do remember that are in here are:

Black Men United
Public Enemy
Intelligent Hoodlum
James Bown
Lakim Shabazz
Kam
Paris
Human Education Against Lies
The Stop the Violence Movement
Boogie Down Productions
West Coast All Stars
The King Dream Chorus & Holiday Crew

And more

Even though, I was madd rusty skillwise, I hope you enjoy this trip down memory lane. feel free to download it and leave a comment.

*raises fist*

Wanna hear how I spin in a club? Part III here (downloadable)

here's the 3rd and final club sample mix. geared toward a slightly younger crowd. i wish i could say more, but i have to run.

Wanna hear how I spin in a club? Part 2 (downloadable)

1st off, people have asked. so here goes. yes u can download these. there is a lil button in the player that says "share" if you click that then hit "link to mp3" you can download these.

this one is a little different, but there are times where people don't want to hear hip hop...imagine that. because i was raised on MTV in the 80's (waiting for the mike jackson and run dmc videos) i have pretty decent background of 80's rock and pop. so i started off with that.

it's really short. leave a comment please

Black College/ASU/Top Flight mix

I did this short mix probably 3 years ago. this was for a friend's 90's party i think. If you went to a southern black college in the mid 90's, these songs were gettin a lotta play in the club. I'm posting it up for some old class mates, i don't even remember what songs were in it. i do know i started with the REAL early 90's then brought it up to like 95. enjoy it.

LEAVE Comments.

and remember TOP FLIGHT!! (i do....i got in free cause i was a Nupe haha)

here it is..the BOO-T mix
