My Black History Mix: "The Red, The Black, The Green"
Ok I think I did this mix like 3-4 years ago. Hip hop went through a very political/pro black period in the late 80's/early 90's. Public Enemy was my favorite hip hop group in high school. (Yeah, flava flav's group) anyway, these were some of my fave songs from that era. I figured why not repost it in February.
I forgot who was all in here, but some of the artists I do remember that are in here are:
Black Men United
Public Enemy
Intelligent Hoodlum
James Bown
Lakim Shabazz
Kam
Paris
Human Education Against Lies
The Stop the Violence Movement
Boogie Down Productions
West Coast All Stars
The King Dream Chorus & Holiday Crew
And more
Even though, I was madd rusty skillwise, I hope you enjoy this trip down memory lane. feel free to download it and leave a comment.
